Google v/s Motorola on Facebook

Facebook is the fast growing social media application as most of the people these days are using Facebook for their personal use or for doing their business by advertising their product or by selling it online. In 2017, there was 2129 million of number of users using Facebook (statisa, 2017), this shows that most of the people are active on Facebook. Firstly, google is also using their Facebook page very effectively as they also have 202,139 followers and 199,105 people who have liked their page. To use their page more effectively they are very active on their page, they daily posts new post in which they post what they are about to launch and what they already have launched. They advertise about their new product on their page with an image or with small video. Google has used their G logo as their profile picture and the cover photo is about what they made, that is why their Facebook page’s name is made by Google. Most recent post of Google was on 27 February and they have posted about their new product- Google clips, which is a hands-free camera, which can capture spontaneous moments of family, friends, pets and yourself. This post got 62 likes which is not that much and just 3 shares. On an average they get 100-200 likes per post if we see their previous month’s post. (Madebygoogle, 2018)

Whereas Motorola has way more than followers that Google as they have 15,480,347 followers and 15,482,023 people have liked their page. As they are also very active on Facebook they also update their Facebook page daily, they also put their advertisements on Facebook but the best thing about this page is that Motorola has given an option in their about section that if you will send a message they will reply back in few hours which is a great marketing strategy. As people may have queries so they can contact them directly on their Facebook page. Their latest post was on 21 February in which they were telling that everyone these days are busy on their phones so that’s why they have captioned their post as stuck in post. On this post they just got 4 like which is a very bad response from the audience. There was only 1 share and 1 comment. Their average likes per post is less than 50 likes. They have posted one post in which they were launching their upcoming phone MOTOZ 2 and got 24 likes, 1 share and 3 comments. (Motorola, 2018)
